Extreme Right Hindu Chauvinism: Implication for the Nation
Whoever had coined the words saffron terrorism to describe Hindu fundamentalist organized violent groups allegedly embedded in the Hindu Organizations, has done immense damage to the country by recognizing that the Indian society was vertically and horizontally divided and the Hindus and Muslims are communally motivated, ready to slit each other’s throat? In the composite [...]

February 22, 2012 at 5:51 pm Subhashis Das This is really interesting the Sriyantra part...the golden mean part.. that's very interesting. I need to direct my studies to the yantras as well. Thank you for your insight on the manifestation from anuswar to the visarga.i presume this has something to do with Ma Kali deemed as the adi varna as she wears 51 heads symbol of the same number of alphabets with the lower left hand holding (perhaps) the visarga.when she is the explosive form of the primeval energy and the Shiva as the inactive one. In Bengal many such Dakshna kali with her Dakshin leg protruded has her Shiva made pregnant.

Lord Shiva is the most influential character in my life. He is simple, loving, caring, bold, vast and creator of the universe and destroyer of all bad things.
Today, on His marriage anniversary, I pray to Him to destroy all sins in me and upgrade me to a good human being with spiritual qualities.
I love my Father of creation with Mother Parvati, the ideal of all women in the world.

Niraj Kumar Dhatura's bisexuality was ot known to me. Thanks for this lovely information, Dada. And I fully agree with you that fertility cult was widely prevalent in pre-Brahmana period. the cult of yaksha and nagas( former closely related with the boon of child) was appropriated by both orthodox Brahmins and heterodox Shramana like buddha, Jina for popular acceptance. I am onto tracing the genealogy in a coming piece. pi has a very important significance in sacred geometry across the world. but, for the triad/triangle shape,I will posit for the structural homology with the generative organ of the fertile women. ANOTHER WAY IS TO THINK is THAT EVERY DRAWING presuppose putting up dot. When single dot, become many(two)-see the journey from anusvar to visarga; potency to manifestation). Linking the single dot with two dots form the first shape, Triangle which contains the signification of manifestation of the universe. Interestingly, in the Sriyantra, the largest triangle has side ratio in proportion of godlen mean, phi, which is also found in the pyramid. The correlation between these constants in sacred geometry itself will be a fascination studies. thanks again for illuminating us with forceful insights, Subhashis Das Dada.
