Really? You wonder why there is a huge difference between the percentage of minorities in Pakistan in 1947 versus modern day? Do you really think they were all murdered?

OR, could it be that a huge chunk of those Pakistani minorities lived in EAST Pakistan. When Bangladesh gained its independence, a MASSIVE chunk of the minorities became Bangladeshi, so Pakistan’s percentage of minorities tumbled.
You should have compared WEST Pakistan to today’s Pakistan. What a silly fallacy.

i am shocked to read this article. it is horrible. in a country where 96% population is Muslim and treating their minority’s so ruthlessly.Today this is against minority’s, tomorrow it will be against its own people( different sects of Islam).i have a feeling education is far away and one should not wonder that slowly world opinion has come to conclusion that Pakistan is a failed nation and its people are allowing all this to happen and bringing their country to stone age.in coming years it will have serious impact on its society an a country as a whole.

Hindus in pak living like animals and muslims in india like kings.This is because the politicians of india are the dirtiest of all creatures, sucking their own motherland blood. Since its independance india has been ruled by parasite leaders only. none of then has really worked for the country without his own benefit.Who is to be blamed? I am not indian, but feel sorry for its plight.Its too late to think for some solution, India should have reacted boldly and firmly with Kashmir issue after its first was with PAk,But too much let go. Its strange ,that politicians are certainly no humans, But what about the millions of its population claiming to be majority, Are they all deepo asleep, Don’t you realize the danger coming from your ennemy, When the people will start reacting, when your brothers or sisters will killed by terrorists or your daughters raped.Are you patietly waiting for the worst to come? Are you only concerned about movies?Do you prefer to be called cowards?Don’t you all feel shame of tolerating such rogue politicians?Don’t you feel the concern for the security of your future generations. If india does not get some young dynamic leaders now, Then it will be a hell country with violence everywhere by your ennemies who are lying inside india.its enough for the old pensioners to think about security of the country, They are not even able to hold their dhoti correctly.India need some tough millitary commanders as leaders to awaken its nation. The whole country seems to be plunged in deep sleep, while the ennemmy is preparing at full speed for its attack. if you do not wake up now, better enjoy the deep sleep, since it will be eternal.

I live in Bikaner and work in malaria deprtmnet. Have to visit border villages. In about 30 villages there has been huge increment of Pakistani Muslim ppulation. They are Pir Pagara followers. In Rajasthan borders also there are Pagara devotees. Congress is encourgaing the by giving all facilities. Hindu refugees are pitifully neglected.

I have heard of these crimes before. The waderas or sindhi landlords continue to keep ‘slaves’ on thousands of acres of land they own it is shameful. The congress does not realise that by constantly putting issues of hindu rights abuse under the carpet they are only infuriating the hindus. i would however like to remind some of our saffron brothers, we have to learn from the entire system in Pakistan. MOre we bring religion into Politics, lesser the liberaties we will have. What with the unique case of attcks on the Pubs in manglore or the constant honour killings. The fanatics have a way inciting hatred, in long run we will gain nothing from it. And as far as ali’s comment is concerned, i really like the fact you have taken the trouble to understand the length and breadth of the Paki society. Most Hindus will agree what happened to muslims in Gujrat is wrong, we forgive thousands of bomblast, and are have forgotten the history of suppresion of rulers of INDIA who happen to be followers of your faith. We still say that very few indian muslims are radicalised perhaps you should also move on and forget Gujrat.

Dear Mr. Ali
I am sure you are a liberal and respectable person and there are millions like you in the muslim community, even in Pakistan. But I want a small concern shared with you. When muslims are in minority, it is the people like you who come out and talk tall talks of secularism. But when muslims become majority, people like you are either pushed to or conveniently go to the background and let those people take over who commit horrible crimes like Godhra, which you conveniently forgot to mention. If you be fair and accept the events of Gujrat an unfair but natural fallout of the preplanned killing of ladies and children by people, common people in large numbers belonging to your community, you would not cry yourself so hoarse about ” Myth of culture and self restraint leading to the rule of law blown to smithereens in Gujrat.” Tell me frankly, what you expected in Gujrat? Red carpets and garlands? If you can do nothing about he behaviour of the majority of your community, please don’t talk in the defence of the community. I conceive the muslim liberals only as another tool of diplomacy for Islam which is after all a political force, determined to grab as much land as possible. What happened in Pakistan is not an aberration, it is the rule of Islamic majority.
