Mr. Dhar ,
Shall I call you a traitor of the people? I am sure there is nothing wrong in doing so. You are a very capable intelligence officer who knew the very depth of the Maoist movement in India, the reasons for it's rise,i.e. the terrible oppression unleashed on the tribals, and the oppressed people just fighting for their survival. The few things that you have not included (or deliberately ignored) are the atrocities of Salwa judum that killed thousands of tribals and made lakhs missing and destruction of above 640 tribal villages. You would have know it for sure, but you ignored it. You do not state one word about the huge rally of MNC's to capture the tribal lands and the 100's of MoU's , which is the core driving factor for the state to send the CRPF and paramilitary troops. You are NOT BOTHERED ABOUT THE TERRIBLE LOSS OF TRIBAL LIVES BY THE police operations. You know the sufferings of the sufferings of the people but like a cruel and cold blooded strategist you plan how to kill with police force. When you tell about the national security, whose security do you mean? You mean the security of a few rich in cities riding latest cars, or the 80 billion hungry Indians in villages and jungles? For whom are your whole security APPARATUS working for? For the safe passage of TATA and ESSAR on tribal lands? What is your prescription for the safety of tribals from the marauding cruel police officers whom they hate like hell? When you write so wonderfully about several agrarian uprisings I doubt that you had some inclination in the past to these movement and gained greater visibility that most of the Idiots in the police department do not have, but you sold yourself to the government machinery like a Judas? If you are worried about the people then write a few lines about them and their sufferings which hundreds of human rights workers are fighting for, rather than throwing stones at fellow men from your ivory tower.

Sir, the Naxal movement was active in Tamilnadu during its initial stages. Then it failed. We are led to believe that it was due to the superior tactics employed by the Tamilnadu Police that the naxals were contained. Please tell us how it was contained and what is the present situation in TN?

I am delighted to read the article. It gives an insight into the functioning of the Maoists. I learn the Maoists have set up libertaed zones in some areas. That is dangerous. I would like to invite Dhar to our Jesrusalem University to deliver a talk. How can I get in touch?

My great uncle was a Gaddar Party warrior. My cousin, a Naxal, was shot by police in Moga. I do not agree with Dhar. People have right to revolt.
